THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT

10:00 am
Dear Church Members & Friends,
This Sunday we will light the candle of Joy in the Advent Wreath. It isa pink candle, also called Shepherd’s Candle. The shepherds experienced great joy when they received the good news about the birth of baby Jesus. The angels gave them goodness in the middle of the night, during their darkest time.

We are currently in the middle of the pandemic, for many this is one of the darkest and most depressing time. As God brought joy and light into the life of the shepherds, God will fill us with his light, love, and Joy in the days to come. Let us hold on to the promises of God.

Our Gospel reading is taken from John 1:6-8, 19-28. I hope to see you in church on Sunday but if you are unable to attend in-person, please feel free to join us on-line at 10:00 am. We will use the same passcode for Zoom Service.

In Christ,
Pastor Enock
